Costs and rates
Neurofeedback is an intensive one-on-one training that involves a lot of technology. Yet the going rate for a session does not differ all that much from a visit to a psychotherapist. This is because the NCH is a non-profit organisation which tries to be of service to as many people as possible.
The intake includes:
- Intake Interview
- Filling out questionnaires, one of which is the BSI (Brief Symptom Inventory)
- Evaluating the completed questionnaires
- Measuring the QEEG. This involves a scan to asses brain activity
- Evaluating the findings of the QEEG
Outline of the rates in 2009
- Preliminary interview: free
- Intake interview including QEEG brain scan (2 hours): 340 Euro
- 2nd QEEG (after 20 sessions): 170 Euro
- One single neurotherapy session: 95 Euro
- A set of 20 neurotherapy sessions: 1700 Euro (85 Euro per session)
If one decides to start training, a series of 20 sessions will be planned, with a minimum of 2x per week, lasting 50-60 minutes. In case more sessions are needed the set uniform rate will be 85 euro per session.
